Dorie
Christman, CHMM is a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager and a veteran
of the chemical industry, with 25 years of experience in the Transportation
of Hazardous Materials. Dorothy is the past president of the Certified
Hazardous Materials Managers and The Transportation Association of
Portland. She has also received the honor of Transportation Person
of the Year. She has a degree in Chemistry and Business Management.
Pacific Training has been conducting classes since 1990 and has over
25 years of chemical industry experience. Since 1993, all "Hazmat
and Hazwaste Employers" (Shippers, Generators, Carriers and Receivers
of Hazardous Materials) were to ensure and certify that all "Hazmat
Employees" are successfully trained and tested. This includes all
hazmat employees who perform or supervise functions involving shipments
of hazardous materials, substances or wastes.
Pacific Training provides training and certification based on specific Federal Department of Transportation requirements. The new mandatory security requirements are covered. We provide the needed training and testing for each employee to successfully understand and comply with the DOT Regulations. We also provide In House Training for DOT and OSHA Hazard Communication to meet your Company's specific needs as well as hourly consultation to review shipping documents, manifests, labels or MSDS.
